For a long time I’ve been planning moving from my old url and to split from my web hosting provider, Mr. Site. This was as a result of Mr. Site’s lack of customer support and almost feature-free hosting. With my current host I finally get access to PHP and MySQL, allowing me to set up a WordPress Blog or potentially a web site with some kind of embedded CMS. I’ll stick with the WordPress blog for a while now, since it allows everything I wanted but was denied by my last web host: easy updating of site content via an admin screen. With my old service I’d build or edit the site in iWeb, export the site to a folder then copy the files to the FTP server. A massive pain when all I want to do is type a litttle blog or stick a few photos online.
